MARK Bumpers
The Mark siderail bumpers are for integral rail siderails and come in a variety of models and styles. Some have a mesh that runs right under the bed. to prevent entrapment. The bumpers concertina with the rails to make raising and lowering easy. Different fabrics and colours allow for choice.
Wraparound Bumpers
These standard, economical wraparound bumpers are for metal or wooden rails. They can be half or full length.They are fitted with velcro strips to hold them in place. They provide an economic version of siderail bumpers. However, many people find that they are not as easy to use as the specially designed MARK bumpers.
Head & foot bumpers
Head and foot bumpers can be made either as fitted or removable and in a choice of different colours and fabric. The Integra bumpers are fixed to the head and footboard and are extremely robust. The loose “tea cosy” type model are simple to put on and remove.
Gap guard
The Gap guard can be fitted to the base of any bed to prevent the risk of entrapment. The mesh also raises with the head section to reduce the gap when the bed is profiled. This ensures that there is no risk of entrapment but means that the profiling of an electric bed still functions correctly.
Tumblemats
Carebase produce a variety of Tumblemats including folding and wedge shaped versions. This improves for safety and the wedge version provides an aid to independent entry to and from a cot or bed.
Vizio
The Vizio bumpers are an innovative design where the panel is made with see through, breathable material and the siderail elements are covered with normal bumper fabric and protection. They are available on cot models and also as a special version on the 3 rail bed Domiflex 80-20.
Modulus
Carebase supplies an innovative range of bumpers that increase the side height of a bed or cot. This can be provided either at the point of purchase or later, providing the ultimate level of flexibility. The bed version reaches a height of 60cm from the mattress platform.
